Privacy policy
How qisthi.dev and the Google API applications I register handle your data. Effective 25 October 2026.
This policy covers two things: the website qisthi.dev and its subdomains, and the Google API applications I, Qisthi Ramadhani, register under my own name for personal tooling (for example, a file transfer utility that copies my files into my own Google Drive).
1. The website
- I do not require accounts, and I do not collect personal data to show you this site.
- Server-side request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) may be kept by the hosting provider, Cloudflare, for security and abuse prevention. I do not use them to identify visitors.
- If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored by the newsletter provider only to send you new articles. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
- I do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties for advertising.
2. Google API applications (OAuth)
Some of my personal tools ask for access to a Google account through Google OAuth. These tools are built for my own use. If you use one of them with your account, this is how your data is handled:
- What is accessed: only the Google Drive data needed for the tool to work, under the scopes shown on the Google consent screen (for example, reading and writing files in the connected Drive).
- Why: to copy, back up, or organise files on the user’s behalf. There is no other purpose.
- Where it goes: files move directly between the source and the user’s own Google Drive. The tool does not upload your Google data to me or to any third party, and does not use it for advertising, profiling, or training machine learning models.
- Tokens: OAuth tokens are stored locally on the machine that runs the tool, in a configuration file readable only by that user. They are never transmitted anywhere except to Google’s APIs.
- Retention: the tool keeps no copy of your Google data. Revoking access removes the tool’s ability to reach your account immediately.
- Revoking access: you can remove the application at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Cookies
The website itself sets no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies needed for security challenges.
4. Children
The website and these tools are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from them.
5. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
